Miss Charity is the Founder/Director/Lead teacher of the Sedona Children’s Garden. She has worked in the area of child development since 1986. Charity received her kindergarten teaching credentials from Rudolf Steiner College in Sacramento, California. She is also certified as a Waldorf Remedial Therapist through the Association for a Healing Education.

Beyond this, she has served as an evaluator for Rudolf Steiner College, acted as a mentor/evaluator for various schools in Arizona inspired by Waldorf Education, and created and implemented a ‘Practicum Teacher Training Program’ through the Sedona Children’s Garden.

Miss Charity embodies what she endeavors to inspire in each of her students, which is a lifelong love of learning; she is a certified Aware Parenting Facilitator via the Aware Parenting Institute, and a trained Consultant receiving her accreditation through The Academy for the Love of Learning. In addition, she has been trained in Brain Gym; Optimal Learning, Bal-A-Vis X; Balance/Auditory/Vision, Social Inclusion (w/Kim John Payne), The Work (w/Byron Katie), Compassionate Communication (Rosenburg), Emotional Clearing (John Ruskan), Family Constellation Therapy (w/Bert Hellinger), as well as in HeartMath.

Miss Charity not only holds a developmentally sound curriculum, and eloquent care for the precious children that join her classroom each year, she has also served as a safe and insightful guide for many young parents along the way; vitalizing wholehearted family foundations for a lifetime.
